5 Registration Packages and Options to Choose From!

General Registration

  • Check-in opens at 10 AM on Friday, October 2. Conference begins at 1 PM and ends on Sunday, October 4 at 1 PM.
  • Over 127 hours of workshops and presentations with simultaneous tracks each hour geared toward beginner/all, intermediate and professional writers.
  • Complimentary pitch with an agent/editor.
  • Opportunities to network with a vibrant and large writing community.
  • 1:1 support opportunity through mentor, blue pencil and round table sessions (additional costs apply).
  • Find resources through vendors and sponsors.
  • Discussion forums with similar writers by genre (Birds of a Feather).
  • Includes Friday night banquet, Saturday lunch buffet, Sunday night banquet and Sunday brunch buffet.
  • Access to all activities such as agent and editor panels and classes, Q&A and/or classes with keynote speakers Sarah MacLean and Stephen Graham Jones, Open Mic Night, public speaking coaching, author book signing and sales (for PAA members and VIPs only to sell, but is open to all attendees and the public, relaxing and quiet areas for breaks and receptions (some by invitation only), contests and raffles.
  • During General Conference registration, but at an additional cost, you will be given the opportunity to add Thursday Intensives, a Friday Morning Master Class, mentor sessions, round table session, blue pencil session, displaying your author banner(s), and adding additional agent/editor pitch opportunities such as Friday After Dark Pitch with complementary glass of wine based on availability.

Saturday-Only Registration

  • Check-in opens at 7 AM. Conference begins at 8 AM and sessions end at 5:20 PM.
  • Assorted evening activities begin at 5:30 PM and end at 10 PM.
  • Complementary pitch with an agent of your choosing.
  • Includes Saturday buffet lunch with agent and editor Q&A panel, and Saturday evening banquet dinner and program with keynote Stephen Graham Jones.
  • Opportunities to network with a vibrant and large writing community.
  • Access to all Saturday activities such as Open Mic Night, public speaking coaching (only on Friday this year), an author book signing and sales (for PAA members and VIPs only as sellers) but is open to the public, relaxing and quiet areas for breaks and receptions (some by invitation only), contests, and raffles.
  • 1:1 support opportunity through mentor session and/or blue pencil session (additional costs apply).
  • Find resources through vendors and sponsors.
  • Discussion forums with similar writers by genre (aka Birds of a Feather). Note: not all genres are held on Saturday. Check posted schedule.

Thursday Intensives Registration

  • Check-in opens at 7 AM. Thursday Intensive classes begin at 8 AM and end at 5 PM.
  • Create your own schedule throughout the day from amongst 8 different, 2-hour classes (refer to the Thursday Intensives page for a complete list of presenters and class descriptions).
  • A lunch break is from 12 PM–1 PM lunch is included.

Friday Morning Master Class Registration

  • Check-in opens at 7 AM. Master Classes begin at 8 AM and end at noon. This option requires check-out at the registration desk no later than 12:30 PM.
  • Choose one 4-hour class from amongst 6 choices (refer to the Friday Morning Master Class page for a complete list of presenters and class descriptions).
  • Lunch is not included.

Thursday Intensive AND Friday Morning Master Class Combination Registration

  • Check-in is required both days and opens at 7 AM. Friday Morning Master Class ends at 12 PM and requires check-out at the registration desk no later than 12:30 PM, Friday
  • Includes both Thursday all day and Friday Morning Master class workshops and presentations for a mini conference experience.
  • Thursday programs are open to attendees throughout the day. Friday AM requires choosing one class from among 6 options.
  • Refer to the complete list of Thursday Intensive and Friday Morning Master Class presenters and class descriptions.
  • Lunch is not included either day.
