Refund Policy
Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers will refund costs or charges to users under the following terms:
RMFW Membership
Upon written request to the President and Treasurer, or by vote of the Executive Board when membership is deemed terminated for the good of the organization as a whole.
For Educational Programs - In the case of a user who prepays, refunds will be made in full upon notification to the Education Chair 5 days in advance of non-attendance at such event, or in the event of acts of God, such as road closures due to extreme weather, illness or illness in family, and the like. Refunds will also be made in full in case of cancellations of said events. This refund does not apply to expenses for hotels, travel, and meals, which are the responsibility of the user and not of RMFW. This refund policy does not apply to persons who attend such events and decide afterwards that the event did not address their needs.
RMFW Conference Refund Policy
In the case of a user who prepays, refunds will be made less a $50 processing fee if you notify RMFW via email by 11:59pm 31 days prior to the conference start date. This refund does not apply to expenses for hotels, travel, and meals, which are the responsibility of the user and not of RMFW. This refund does not apply to persons attending such events and deciding afterwards that the event did not address their needs. In the event of someone who registers and attends some conference programs, but for some urgent need, such as illness, has to leave, pro-rated refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis, after request to the Conference Chair and President.
(** Up to the amount paid by the user, taking into account deductions for such things as presenting workshops, working for Contest, volunteer vouchers, and the like. These are earned credits and will not be refunded.)
